CONVERSIONS

 We have a full range of conversion options which we fit to your Bongo in our own workshops. Full side conversions with all the equipment and rock'n'roll bed cost around £3900, rear side and side quarter conversions with cooker, sink and fridge cost around £850, and there are options to build in your own design ideas too. 

We can fit external water tanks (under the floor), electric showers for under - tailgate use, sliding tables, roof racks, towbars and a host of other accessories to make you more comfortable.

We use Vohringer ply, Smev sinks and cookers, and other top quality accessories, and always much cheaper than you would pay from the big dealerships.

Having been built by Mazda, your Bongo (or Ford Freda) should last a couple of decades, and maybe more. Of course, if it isn't cared for properly, it will fall apart just like any other vehicle and believe me we have seen some rotting, smoking, broken Bongos…..you'll see them too…. on auction sites, and through dodgy dealers who buy rotted Bongos, paint them up, and sell them to inexperienced buyers, usually first time Bongoliers.

Most Bongo servicing can be carried out by any competent motor engineers, and parts are not hard to get nor particularly expensive. However, there are some jobs which are best carried out by Bongo specialists; not the big, expensive, complicated jobs but the ones which take time and thoroughness as well as an intimate knowledge of the brand and it's peculiarities.

 We have put together a menu of services which really NEED that knowledge to help your Bongo live a long and useful life…………starting with enemy number one…………rust !
